F-Road has become the overall winner of the 2015 WSJ “The Financial Inclusion Challenge”, as well as the winner in the technology category.
The Financial Inclusion Challenge, run by The Wall Street Journal, is a global project to recognize innovative, sustainable, scalable and impactful strategies that can help low-income groups to gain access to financial programs, products and services. The independent judging panel consisted of ten members reviewed the candidate projects from all over the world. According to the judging panel, F-Road's services shed new light on the crucial issue of bringing financial services to people living in remote and rural area. This problem is often neglected, yet F-Road has provided innovative solutions to serve rural residents.
